1. ¿How many images are in the gallery?

For the time being, gallery has 42 icons. If you need more, you can browse for new images on the internet and use them as “external images”.

2. ¿Is the software switch accessible?

No, Control USB’s software is not switch accessible. We assume that if a user needs switch access it should be already configured in his/her PC to access any other programm. We suggest using this same solution to acces Control USB’s software.

In case a user wishes only to use its PC for Environmental Control (has no other program in its PC) and therefore has not already the switch access resolved, we recommend to use Control Pro model since it allows switch access.

3. ¿Could be used with Siemens KNX systems?

Yes, Control USB can be used with a Siemens KNX system by using an Enabler 9R in between. This set up can be performed by a KNX installer.

4. ¿Can be used with infrared Siemens remote controls?

Siemens infrared remotes work at 458 KHz. Our Environmental Control remotes work with frequencies between 38 and 40 KHz, therefore they are not compatibles. That means that the codes used by Siemens remotes can not be recorded by Control USB.

In case these Siemens remotes are being used in KNX installations could be used with an Enabler 9R and connect it as explained in question 3 so that it can be controled with a Control USB.
